Pakistan explores Azerbaijan’s naval capabilities, maritime security systems PHOTO

A visit by the leadership of Pakistan’s National Defence University, along with the participants and faculty members of the National Security and War Course-26 to Azerbaijan is ongoing. 

As part of the program, the delegation met with Commander of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces, Rear Admiral Shahin Mammadov, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the Pakistani delegation was provided with detailed information on the structure, activities, and operational capabilities of the Azerbaijani Navy. Azerbaijani military officials also answered a range of questions from the delegation regarding naval operations and defence cooperation.

The delegation later visited the Naval Movement Centre of the Azerbaijan Navy, where members were briefed on the monitoring of maritime activities, security procedures, coordination mechanisms, and command-and-control systems employed by the Azerbaijani Navy.
