Panel at Caucasus University explores future of Türkiye-Azerbaijan economic relations PHOTO
On March 6, the current state and future prospects of the economic and trade ties between Türkiye and Azerbaijan were discussed at a panel discussion at Caucasus University in Kars city.
The panel discussion titled "Security Aspect in the Relations Between Türkiye and Azerbaijan" brought together scholars, experts, and key officials, including Consul General of Azerbaijan in Kars Zamin Aliyev, as well as representatives from the Kars municipal government, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Professor Selcuk Ural opened the discussion, underscoring the importance of addressing the shared challenges and threats faced by Türkiye and Azerbaijan. He called for a unified approach to overcome any barriers in the relations between the two nations.
The panel focused on examining the current state and future prospects of the economic and trade ties between the two countries. A key point of discussion was the importance of joint military exercises conducted by the armed forces of both nations, which have strengthened their defence cooperation.
Attention was also given to the various projects being carried out by Türkiye and Azerbaijan in the region. The discussions highlighted the continued solidarity between Baku and Ankara, particularly in the context of their cooperation on the international stage.
