Parliament speaker: Azerbaijani community contributes to Moldova's prosperity

Moldovan Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu has said that the Azerbaijani community actively participates in the social and political life of Moldova, contributing to the nation's prosperity.

Grosu made these remarks during a meeting with Elchin Bayramov, the head of the Congress of Azerbaijanis in Moldova and a group of diaspora activists, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

He noted that the Azerbaijani community is a vital component of the bilateral relations between the two countries.

In turn, Bayramov emphasised that the Azerbaijani community has always felt the attention of Moldova. 

He highlighted that the community will continue playing a significant role in fostering a stable state and serve as a bridge for cooperation between the two nations. The meeting also included discussions on other issues of mutual interest.
