Pashinyan announces peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan at CIS summit
10 October 2025 12:42
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that peace has been established between Armenia and Azerbaijan following a long-standing conflict.
Speaking at the CIS summit in Dushanbe, Pashinyan referred to the agreements reached in Washington on August 8, as reported by Caliber.Az, citing Armenian media.
Addressing a smaller delegation, the Armenian PM explained that the so-called “Trump route” will enable Armenia to develop railroad and other transportation links with Commonwealth member states.
He emphasised that this will not only strengthen economic ties within the CIS but also enhance the organisation’s overall efficiency, opening new opportunities for trade, exports, and imports among member countries.
