The AnewZ television channel has released the first part of a special report in which journalists conducted street interviews in Baku and Yerevan, asking a single question: “How do you see peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan?”

As reported by Caliber.Az, the programme highlights that the word “peace” in the South Caucasus carries a profound historical weight, reflecting not only the aspiration for a tranquil life but also the deeply rooted traumas, mistrust, and pain left in the wake of a protracted conflict.

The views voiced on the streets of both capitals ranged from scepticism to cautious optimism.
