Power outages hit parts of Tehran after substation was damaged

Parts of Tehran experienced power outages early Tuesday, March 31, after debris struck an electrical substation in the eastern section of the city, according to reports citing Iranian media.

Iran International reported that the damage to the substation disrupted electricity supply in several districts. In response, repair crews were dispatched to the site to restore power as quickly as possible.

The incident follows earlier reports from Iranian media of electricity outages in Tehran linked to missile strikes, after which power had been restored.
