President Aliyev hosts official reception in honour of Italian counterpart

On September 30, an official reception was hosted by Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in honor of Sergio Mattarella, President of the Italian Republic, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Italian President Sergio Mattarella visited Azerbaijan on September 30 for his second official trip, highlighting the deepening strategic partnership between the two countries. During his visit, leaders of Azerbaijan and Italy discussed cooperation across energy, industry, and European Union relations. On October 1, the leaders are set to jointly inaugurate the Italy-Azerbaijan University, a project symbolising the growing humanitarian and cultural ties between Baku and Rome.
