I hope we are gradually getting closer to peace. I appreciate the work of Charles Michel in this area. Because as you know, trilateral meetings have been held several times in Brussels, and each time we are getting closer to peace.
President Ilham Aliyev made the statement in his interview with Azerbaijani TV channels in Prague, Caliber.Az reports.
Noting that the quadrilateral meeting was organised by Charles Michel and Emmanuel Macron, the head of state said:
"Important issues were also discussed during this meeting, and I think this meeting will be important for the achievement of a peace treaty. Nevertheless, contacts are continuing. We have agreed that we will meet again after dinner. In any case, the peace process has already gained momentum".
