President Erdogan: US leader agrees to sell F-16s jets to Türkiye

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that US President Joe Biden assured during a phone talk that he agrees to sell F-16 fighter jets to Ankara.

“I talked to my US counterpart on December 14,” President Erdogan told journalists, TASS reports.

“One of the main topics was related to the F-16s. President Biden said that he agrees to sell aircraft and is ready to submit a corresponding proposal to the Congress,” the Turkish president added.
