President of Turkish Defence Industry Council due in Azerbaijan

President of the Turkish Defence Industry Council Haluk Gorgun will visit Azerbaijan on April 1-2.

During the visit, Haluk Gorgun is expected to meet with Azerbaijani Defence Minister Zakir Hasanov, Minister of Defence Industry Vugar Mustafayev and Deputy Defence Minister Agil Gurbanov, the Turkish embassy in Baku told Report.

The Turkish Defence Industry Council was established upon decree #1 of the president of the Republic of Türkiye dated July 10, 2018.

Gorgun was appointed president of the Turkish Defence Industry Council under the presidential administration on June 5, 2023.
