President: Pakistan committed to continued cooperation with Azerbaijan and Türkiye
Pakistan remains firmly committed to strengthening its cooperation with Türkiye and Azerbaijan in pursuit of peace, stability, and prosperity, President Asif Ali Zardari said during a meeting in Islamabad.
According to Anadolu Agency, the Pakistani president made the remarks while meeting with Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis, and Numan Kurtulmuş, Speaker of Türkiye’s Grand National Assembly (GNAT).
President Zardari emphasised that Pakistan places great importance on its long-standing and friendly relations with both Türkiye and Azerbaijan. “These relations are based on shared beliefs, mutual trust, and a common vision for regional prosperity,” he said.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Third Trilateral Meeting of the Speakers of the Parliaments of Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Türkiye, held in Islamabad, which aimed to deepen parliamentary dialogue and enhance cooperation among the three nations.
