Presidential aide: Azerbaijan ready for urban development talks

Azerbaijan is among the most suitable locations for hosting the World Urban Forum (WUF), owing to its extensive experience in urban development and territorial reconstruction, Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan – Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, said.

Addressing an event held as part of WUF13 in Baku, Hajiyev noted that the forum offers countries a valuable platform to exchange experiences and address key challenges in urban development, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

"Azerbaijan is also ready to share its experience. We are open to discussions on the topic of urban development. Our country can also become one of the exemplary models in post-conflict reconstruction processes," Hikmet Hajiyev stated.
