Pro-Armenian orientalist shifts his ground, accusing Armenia of Khojaly, Sumgayit events
Feeling the cooling in Russian-Armenian relations, orientalist Yevgeny Satanovsky, who previously defended Armenians, shifted his ground and blasted Armenia.
"Armenia's problem is not at all that Russia has not recognised Garabagh. As what? As a part of Armenia? An independent Armenian state, the second in the Caucasus? Part of Russia?! So no one in Garabagh or Armenia asked for that.
In general, Armenia, along with the Baltic trio, Georgia, and Ukraine, was one of the instigators of the collapse of the Soviet Union. No one wants to remember that? As well as the fact that the Sumgayit events were largely provoked by Azerbaijani refugees. Where did they come from, eh? Let Armenians ask the Dashnaks and militants of all other political and terrorist structures close to them about this. As well as about what happened in Khojaly with the civilian population there," Satanovsky notes.
