Record number of NGOs to observe presidential election in Azerbaijan

Non-governmental organizations are actively involved in ensuring transparency in the February 7 presidential election.

According to the independent media centre "Seçki-2024" ("Elections-2024"), 6,045 people representing NGOs, civil society institutions and public associations operating in the country have received certificates for election observation, Caliber.Az reports.

The number of NGOs that will monitor the elections this year has increased almost 4 times compared to the 2018 presidential elections.
