OTS heads of government adopt joint statement at Baku meeting updated

The second meeting of the heads of government and vice presidents of the member states of the Organisation of Turkic States has concluded in Baku, with participants adopting a joint statement at the end of the talks.

According to local media, the document was agreed upon following discussions among representatives of the member states during the high-level gathering.

The second meeting of the heads of government and vice presidents of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS) is taking place in Baku at the Gulustan Palace.

The event brings together the heads of government of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Northern Cyprus, along with the Vice President of Türkiye and the Secretary General of the organisation, local media reports.

Participants are expected to focus on strengthening economic relations, as well as addressing issues related to transport and logistics.

The gathering follows the inaugural meeting of OTS heads of government, which was held in Kyrgyzstan on September 18 last year.
