Romanian MPs visit Alley of Martyrs in Baku PHOTO

Romanian parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the Chamber of MPs Ion Marcel Ciolacu visited national leader Heydar Aliyev`s grave and Alley of Martyrs in Baku on February 27.

The delegation first visited the Alley of Honour, where they paid tribute to Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, architect and founder of the modern, independent Azerbaijani state, and laid flowers at his grave, according to Azertag.

The delegation then visited the Alley of Martyrs, honoured the memory of the heroic sons of the motherland who became martyrs for the freedom and sovereignty of Azerbaijan, laid flowers at their graves and then visited the Eternal Flame memorial.
