"Russia 24" on France's geopolitical intrigues, Baku's blow to Paris' neocolonial policy
The news block of the all-Russian federal channel “Russia 24” shows a report on the international conference “Neocolonialism: violation of human rights and injustice" held in Baku.
As reported by Caliber.Az, a news presenter on a Russian TV channel noted that speakers at the international conference spoke about the impending collapse of French neo-colonialism.
“France-Africa as a project is bursting at the seams, Mali and Burkina Faso have already left the influence of Paris, and now French troops are leaving Niger,” says, in particular, a report from a Russian TV channel.
To recap, representatives from 14 countries, as well as French overseas territories and Corsica, were participating in the conference organised by the Baku Initiative Group.
The speakers accused France of interfering in the internal affairs of former colonial states.
At the same time, the facts of ethnic cleansing and serious violations of human rights in the states and territories under the colonial rule of France were brought to attention.
At the conference, a photo exhibition portraying severe torture and human rights violations by France against the local population in the colonies was showcased.
