Russia orders over 200,000 printed ID cards for relatives of deceased veterans
The Russian Ministry of Labour and Social Protection has ordered 230,000 certificates for family members of deceased combat veterans and more than 750,000 combat veteran certificates.
Proceeding from the documentation on the state procurement website, which journalists reviewed, the Russian Ministry of Labour and Social Protection ordered 230,000 certificates for “family members of a deceased disabled war veteran, a participant in the Great Patriotic War and a combat veteran”), as well as 757,305 certificates of a combat veteran worth 79 million roubles, according to Verstka.
According to the tender, 200,000 certificates for family members of the victims will be sent to the Russian Defence Ministry, and 30,000 - to the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection. Moreover, the Defence Ministry plans to send 600,000 printed IDs of combatants, 86,805 - to the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, 60,000 - to the Interior Ministry, 10,000 - to the National Guard of Russia, and 500 - to the Ministry of Construction.
This is many times more than before. The ministry ordered almost 100,000 printed certificates of combat veterans and more than 23,000 certificates for family members of the deceased in May 2023. The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection signed a contract to print more than 82,000 forms of certificates for combat veterans and about 6,000 certificates for family members of the deceased last summer.
