Russia ready to facilitate Azerbaijan-Armenia peace treaty conclusion

Russia is ready to facilitate the conclusion of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov made the remarks at a joint press conference with Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov in Baku, Report informs.

"Russia is ready to provide the necessary advisory services. We are also ready to facilitate the conclusion of a peace treaty between the countries," Lavrov said.

He expressed satisfaction with the work of the working commission on unblocking communications in the South Caucasus. The Russian minister also expressed hope for the early resumption of the work of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border delimitation commission.

Lavrov also noted the commitment to the "3+3" regional format.
