Russia ready to offer support & experience to Azerbaijan over interaction with PACE
Russian parliamentarians are ready to share with Azerbaijani colleagues the experience of interaction with the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), given the assembly's decision in January not to ratify the powers of the Azerbaijani delegation.
The head of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, Grigory Karasin, said this at a meeting with a delegation of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis, headed by Chairman of the Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Relations, Samad Seyidov, TASS reports.
“We see how difficult the situation in regional politics is. And not only in regional politics. This applies to such structures as the Council of Europe and its parliamentary component. We share Baku's approaches to interaction in PACE and are ready to share our experience,” Karasin told the meeting.
