Russia's Voronezh on high alert after dozens of drones attack region
On the night of August 13 to 14, more than 35 drones attacked the Russian Voronezh region, Governor Alexander Gusev reported on his Telegram channel.
"Thanks to the coordinated work of our air defence forces, there were no casualties in the region," Gusev wrote, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
As a result of falling drone debris, damage was reported to residential and non-residential properties, municipal infrastructure, and vehicles, the governor noted. After the emergency services have assessed the situation, repair crews and damage assessment specialists will begin their work.
The drone attack alert status remains in effect, which has been in place since the evening of August 13.
Previously, Gusev reported a large number of Ukrainian drones destroyed in the region. According to him, the attacks caused minor damage to residential buildings, outbuildings, and vehicles, as well as ignited dry vegetation.
On the night of August 13, one drone was shot down over the region; there were no reports of casualties or damage.
