Russian, Azerbaijani presidents to meet at SCO summit
Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a series of bilateral meetings with his foreign counterparts during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.
At a briefing with journalists, Yury Ushakov, Russian Presidential Aide, stated that the upcoming SCO summit is seen as an opportunity to facilitate the president's interactions with foreign counterparts, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.
As part of this effort, Putin's schedule will feature several significant meetings.
On July 3, ahead of the official protocol events, President Putin will engage in talks with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The same day, he is also slated to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Mongolian President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
