Russian journalist: Why should Baku be condemned? Whole world recognises Karabakh as Azerbaijani territory
The Russian journalist, the editor-in-chief of the closed Echo of Moscow radio station, Alexei Venediktov, has spoken quite clearly on the Karabakh issue and the recent clashes provoked by Armenia on the border with Azerbaijan.
So, Venediktov said on air of the Telegram channel Live Nail that the world community believes that Nagorno-Karabakh is part of Azerbaijan, just as Crimea is part of Ukraine.
In response to the question "Why does the international community not condemn 'Azerbaijan's aggression,'" the Russian journalist emphasised that Azerbaijan is attempting to reclaim by force the region that the world community recognises as Azerbaijan's territory.
"It's like they condemned Ukraine if they tried to return Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk. How can this be discussed?! It's that simple. Therefore, the world community does not condemn," Venediktov said.
