Russian media tycoon accused of embezzling billion rubles, fleeing justice
A media figure, an ardent Armenian nationalist and "sincere" Russian patriot Aram Gabrelyanov and his entourage find themselves embroiled in a scandal of staggering proportions.
Accusations of embezzlement and raider seizures have rocked the once-respected media tycoon, tarnishing his reputation and sending shockwaves through the industry, Caliber.az reports.
The VChK-OGPU Telegram channel, known for its investigative prowess, has shed light on the alleged misdeeds of Gabrelyanov and his entourage. Court rulings have declared the seizure of assets belonging to "Melor" OJSC and "Promtseolit" OJSC illegal, citing blatant acts of looting.
According to reports, Gabrelyanov and his son Ashot, who has reportedly sought refuge in the United States, are facing a barrage of lawsuits totaling over 1 billion rubles in damages. In a desperate bid to evade legal consequences, Gabrelyanov is purportedly resorting to extreme measures, including betraying former associates and even staging a fictitious divorce to shield his assets from scrutiny.
Despite mounting pressure and damning court decisions, Gabrelyanov remains defiant, leveraging his connections to influence law enforcement agencies.
