Samarkand hosts coordination meeting ahead of "Unity-2025" regional exercise PHOTO

Uzbekistan has hosted a coordination assembly ahead of the "Unity-2025" (Birlik-2025) joint regional military exercise.

Senior officers from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan convened to review the objectives and operational plans of the exercise, Caliber.Az reports per the Defence Ministry.

Units from the participating countries also carried out activities marking the initial phase of the drills.

Azerbaijani commando units and UAV crews are set to take part in 14 activities across 20 tactical episodes during the exercise, officials confirmed.
