Senior MP outlines Azerbaijan's efforts to ensure regional peace

A senior MP has said that Azerbaijan is trying to ensure peace for the region and the whole world.

Samad Seyidov, chairman of the parliament committee for international relations and inter-parliamentary relations, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, made the statement at the special conference of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) on "Peace and security: the role of political parties" held in Baku on November 22.

He reminded that the national army liberated Azerbaijani lands from Armenian occupation as a result of the 44-day Patriotic War, Report informs.

"We have secured four UN resolutions, and Azerbaijan is doing everything possible to establish peace in the region," he said.
