Serbian leader: Much can be learned from Azerbaijani president
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has said that we can learn a lot from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
“Azerbaijan and Serbia have different opportunities in many spheres. Both countries strive to maintain territorial integrity and we represent our countries in the international arena. In particular, we are working to apply international law. This is also being done within the UN, and this is commendable. However, I think that we can learn a lot from President Aliyev,” Vucic said at a joint press conference with Aliyev in Belgrade on November 23, Caliber.Az reports citing the presidential website.
“We have had perfect discussions this morning. However, he will be unable to stay in our country longer due to a certain situation. I hope that we will still have the opportunity to receive him in Serbia as soon as possible,” the Serbian president added.
"We want to express our gratitude to Azerbaijan and President Ilham Aliyev for providing energy. Of course, Serbia is a loyal partner," he said.
The Serbian president noted that Azerbaijan and President Ilham Aliyev are loyal partners not only for Serbia, but for everyone.
"The relevant transparent protocols have been signed, but his words are enough for us. We believe the word of President Ilham Aliyev, it is equal to his signature," Vucic stressed.
