Serbian ministers to visit Azerbaijan ahead of direct Belgrade–Baku flights launch
A Serbian delegation led by Culture Minister Nikola Selaković is set to arrive in Azerbaijan on May 3, according to a diplomatic source familiar with the matter.
The visit is linked to the launch of direct air services between Baku and Belgrade, marking a step forward in bilateral connectivity, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Serbia’s national carrier Air Serbia is scheduled to begin operating the route on the same day.
Selaković is expected to hold a series of bilateral meetings with Azerbaijani officials on 4 May, the source said.
The delegation will also include Sports Minister Zoran Gajić and Education Minister Dejan Vuk Stanković, alongside more than 10 representatives from Serbian media outlets.
Selaković serves as co-chair of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation with Azerbaijan from the Serbian side.
