Shusha Declaration ensures lasting peace in region Turkish MP says
Efkan Ala, Vice Chairman of the Justice and Development Party and member of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye , underscored the pivotal role of the Shusha Declaration in fostering enduring peace and security in the region.
Speaking at the international conference "Organization of Turkic States: towards new strategic goals against the backdrop of geopolitical realities and global cataclysms" in Shusha, Ala emphasized the significance of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan alliance in maintaining regional stability, Caliber.Az reports citing local media.
MP Ala described the Shusha Declaration not only as a document strengthening bilateral ties between Türkiye and Azerbaijan but also as a cornerstone for ensuring security and permanent peace in the region. He highlighted that the alliance between Türkiye and Azerbaijan serves as a robust framework aimed at safeguarding their shared geopolitical landscape.
"The Türkiye-Azerbaijan alliance is not a threat but a powerful source of securing our common geography. Through our cooperation, we are constantly focusing on the stability agenda of the region. We continue to strongly support Azerbaijan's efforts to normalize the situation in the region," the Turkish MP underlined.
