Sikh federation sees strong prospects for cooperation with Azerbaijan

The Sikh Federation is expecting expanded cooperation with Azerbaijan and the Baku Initiative Group (BIG), according to the International Sikh Federation’s chairman Moninder Singh.

Singh said both the Azerbaijani government and the Baku Initiative Group support the idea that peoples should have a voice, Caliber.Az reports.

“We hope for the early signing of agreements with the government of Azerbaijan and the Baku Initiative Group,” he noted.

Earlier, BIG Executive Director Abbas Abbasov said they will sign a memorandum of bilateral cooperation with the International Sikh Federation.

He noted that the organisation began cooperating with representatives of the Sikh community in 2025, Caliber.Az reports.
