Slovak parliamentary speaker lays wreath at Victory Park in Baku PHOTO

A delegation led by the Speaker of the National Council of Slovakia, Richard Raši, has visited Victory Park in Baku during an official trip to Azerbaijan.

A guard of honour was assembled for the visiting delegation upon arrival at the site, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

Raši laid a wreath at the Victory Monument, paying tribute during the ceremony.

He was later briefed on the park’s significance, which was established to commemorate what Azerbaijani authorities describe as the heroism shown during the Patriotic War, as well as to honour the memory of the fallen.
