Slovak president pays tribute to Azerbaijani national leader during Baku visit

Slovak President Peter Pellegrini paid tribute to Azerbaijan's late national leader Heydar Aliyev during his official visit to the country on July 15.

Pellegrini visited the Alley of Honour in Baku, where he laid a wreath at the tomb of Heydar Aliyev, Caliber.Az reports via state media.

The Slovak president also laid flowers at the grave of ophthalmologist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva.

In addition, Pellegrini honoured the memory of prominent Azerbaijani statesman Aziz Aliyev and Professor Tamerlan Aliyev by laying flowers at their graves.
