SOCAR explores cooperation with Chinese construction giant CITIC PHOTO

SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf has met with Yang Jianqiang, Chairman of the Board of CITIC Construction Co., Ltd., to discuss potential collaboration in energy and petrochemical projects.

The meeting highlighted SOCAR’s ongoing partnerships with several companies in the People’s Republic of China, and explored opportunities for cooperation with CITIC Construction, including the development of energy infrastructure projects and the establishment of joint ventures, Caliber.Az reports, citing SOCAR.

Officials also shared information on SOCAR’s projects in Azerbaijan and abroad, alongside the company’s broader strategic objectives.

A Framework Agreement was signed during the meeting, setting the stage for the two companies to explore future areas of collaboration.
