SOCAR inks memorandums with Sumgayit State University PHOTO

SOCAR enterprises and the Sumgayit State University (SSU) have signed memorandums of understanding between the enterprises.

The MoUs were signed between the SSU and Baku Higher Oil School, as well as between the SSU and SOCAR Downstream Management Ltd., Report informs, citing SOCAR.

The event held at the university with the participation of SOCAR and the SSU management staff highlighted the importance of signing memoranda of understanding within the framework of the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" and noted the valuable contribution to strengthening the competitiveness of human capital as well as highly qualified human resources potential in the country.

At the event held at the Heydar Aliyev University Centre, it was noted that 2023 has been declared the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" in the country, and in connection with this it was told about various events held by SOCAR.

In particular, the meeting informed about the lectures on the topic "Heydar Aliyev and the new oil strategy of Azerbaijan" planned during the year with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education and SOCAR organization, the agreement was reached on holding one of the next lectures at the SSU.

The importance of various educational programmes implemented by SOCAR was noted during the meeting.
