Some 340 Azerbaijani citizens victims of Armenia-planted landmines Infographic since November 2020

Since the end of the Second Karabakh War on 10 November 2020, 340 citizens have become victims of mines in Azerbaijan.

Caliber.Az reports, citing the infographic, embedded into the X post by Hikmat Hajiyev, presidential foreign policy aide and the head of the foreign policy department under the Presidential Administration.

The infographic notes that during the specified period, 65 people were killed by mines and 275 were injured.

From November 10, 2022 to December 6, 2023, 50 civilians and 15 military personnel were killed by landmines in Azerbaijan. At the same time, 111 civilians and 164 military personnel were injured.
