South Korean president’s special rep arrives in Azerbaijan

Special Representative of the South Korean president Suh Byung-soo has visited Azerbaijan.

Suh Byung-soo visited the Azerbaijani parliament as part of the visit, the Azerbaijani parliament told Report.

The views on a number of issues of mutual interest were exchanged during the meeting between Suh Byung-soo and Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Sahiba Gafarova.

"Smart City" and "Smart Village" concepts, as well as "Green Energy Zones" are being implemented in the liberated Azerbaijani territories upon Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s initiative.

The interest of the Azerbaijani side in cooperation with Korean companies in these spheres was emphasised.

Head of the Azerbaijan-Korea Inter-Parliamentary Relations Working Group of the Azerbaijani Parliament Malik Hasanov, Head of the Azerbaijani parliament’s office Farid Hajiyev, Korean Ambassador to Azerbaijan Lee Eun Yong and other officials attended the event.
