Spokesperson: ICRC inquires about two Azerbaijanis in Armenian custody

Spokesperson for the Azerbaijani representative office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Ilaha Huseynova has said that the ICRC inquires about two Azerbaijanis currently in custody in Armenia.

Huseynova made these remarks for journalists during an information session in Azerbaijan’s Naftalan city, Report informs.

She noted that ICRC staff continues visiting two Azerbaijanis detained in Armenia, inquires about their condition, and gets in touch with their families.

Azerbaijani servicemen Agshin Babirov, 19, and Huseyn Akhundov, 20, who went missing due to limited visibility and unfavorable weather conditions in Shahbuz district of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, bordering Armenia, were captured by Armenia.
