Strengthening trade ties with Turkic states is Türkiye’s top priority Ambassador says
Türkiye’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci has said that strengthening trade and economic ties with Turkic states is Türkiye’s primary goal.
Bagci made these remarks during the event dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
He emphasised the significance of this day and noted that one of the key objectives is the further development of the Republic of Türkiye.
“With a national income exceeding $1 trillion, Türkiye maintains a strong position in the world. Our country has increased the share of local production in the defence industry to 80 per cent and is committed to advancing in all sectors - from education to agriculture and tourism. We aim to be among the top ten economies globally. Our primary goal is to further strengthen economic ties with Turkic states,” the ambassador said.
