Swedish, Czech diplomats evacuated from Iran via Azerbaijan Photo
Members of the Swedish and Czech diplomatic corps have been evacuated from Iran Azerbaijan's Astara state border crossing poin.
The evacuation involved four individuals, including one Swedish diplomat, two Czech diplomats, and a driver, Caliber.Az reports via Azertag.
Officials confirmed that the process was conducted in accordance with established border control procedures. Relevant documents were verified, and registration and other necessary formalities were completed to ensure the safe and orderly passage of the evacuees.
Following the completion of registration procedures, the individuals were safely transported to their respective destinations.
Authorities stated that evacuation operations at the Astara state border crossing point are continuing smoothly, with crossings carried out under the supervision of the relevant state structures and in line with existing regulations.
