Switzerland commends Baku for swift Iran evacuation support

Switzerland has thanked Azerbaijan for its assistance in evacuating Swiss citizens and diplomats from Iran.

The acknowledgment was published on the official social media page of the Swiss diplomatic mission, which expressed appreciation to the Azerbaijani government for its support during the operation, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

“The Embassy of Switzerland thanks the Government of Azerbaijan for its prompt and valuable assistance in the evacuation of Swiss diplomats and citizens from Iran. We greatly appreciate the cooperation and support at this critical moment,” the statement read.
