Tabriz welcomes Azerbaijan’s newly appointed consul PHOTO

Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Iran, Ali Alizade, met with Iranian officials to formally present the newly appointed Consul General of Azerbaijan in Tabriz.

The meeting included Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Vahid Jalalzadeh, Director-General of the MFA Protocol Department Ali Akbar Nazari, and Assistant to the Foreign Minister and Director-General for Eurasia at Iran's Foreign Ministry Manouchehr Moradi, Caliber.Az reports, citing the social media accounts of the Azerbaijani Embassy.

During the session, the sides exchanged views on bilateral relations, regional cooperation, and areas of mutual interest in trade and culture.

In a separate meeting with Ali Akbar Nazari, the Director-General of Iran’s MFA Protocol Department, Consul General Taleh Zohrabov presented his consular patent.
