Tactical & special exercises held with radiation, chemical, and biological defense units VIDEO

According to the training schedule for the current year, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry conducted tactical and special exercises in desert environments involving personnel from units specialized in radiation, chemical, and biological protection.

According to the scenario, the units involved in the exercise were put on alert and deployed to the combat area, Caliber.Az reports citing the ministry.

During the exercise, practical actions were practiced in planning the tasks of radiation, chemical, and biological protection of the defensive operation and communicating these tasks to the units.

The forces of radiation and chemical reconnaissance units monitored and assessed current conditions, promptly identified the readiness of the conditional enemy to use weapons of mass destruction, took preventive measures, and ensured the safety of units operating in conditions of radiation, chemical, and biological contamination.

The main purpose of the exercise was to improve the knowledge and skills of commanders, ensure all-round combat readiness, and create opportunities to gain experience in organizing cooperation.
