Three summits in 10 days: Top official highlights Azerbaijan’s multi-dimensional foreign policy
Azerbaijani presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev took to social media platform X to underscore President Ilham Aliyev’s active diplomatic agenda in the first ten days of October, describing it as a reflection of the country’s “multi-dimensional and multi-regional foreign policy.”
“Only in the first decade of October, President Ilham Aliyev participated in three different summits in three diverse geographies and formats,” Hajiyev wrote, Caliber.Az reports.

He outlined the president’s participation in three high-level gatherings: the European Political Community (EPC) meeting in Copenhagen on October 1–2; the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Gabala on October 6–7; and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Summit in Dushanbe on October 9–10.
According to Hajiyev, this concentrated diplomatic activity highlights Azerbaijan’s strategic positioning.
“The participation of President Ilham Aliyev in three summits within only the last ten days is a manifestation of Azerbaijan’s multi-dimensional and multi-regional foreign policy deriving from the variable geopolitical identities of Azerbaijan,” he stated.
