Top Azerbaijani, French officials review bilateral agenda in Baku meeting
On June 25, Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, said he had held a "productive meeting" in Baku with his French counterpart, Bertrand Buchwalter, during talks on bilateral relations and regional issues.
In a post on X, Hajiyev said the discussions followed last month's phone conversation between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and French President Emmanuel Macron.

"We reviewed the current state and prospects of Azerbaijan–France bilateral relations. We also exchanged views on regional developments and issues of mutual interest," Hajiyev wrote.
