Top officers from six countries observe Caucasian Eagle - 2024 drills in Azerbaijan PHOTO/VIDEO
The leadership of the Azerbaijan Defence Ministry, other state institutions, and a group of high-ranking officers from Türkiye, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan have participated in the Distinguished Visitors Day of the Caucasian Eagle - 2024 exercise held in Azerbaijan.
After reporting to Defence Minister, Col-Gen Zakir Hasanov, on the mock-up of the planned actions and progress of the exercise, the special forces, supported by air assets, carried out various tasks, Caliber.Az reports, citing a report by the Ministry.
Distinguished Visitors watched the activities of the special forces from Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Georgia, who participated in the exercise.
The event ended with a meeting between Hasanov and Distinguished Visitors participants.
The defence minister spoke about the importance of the Special Forces in the formation of a professional army.
Hasanov emphasised the contribution of such joint exercises to increase the professionalism of servicemen, exchange mutual experience, and ensure peace and stability in the region.
The Col-Gen hailed the progress of the exercise in general and wished success to the exercise participants.
