Total number of Azerbaijanis evacuated from Ukraine disclosed

Up to 12,000 Azerbaijani citizens have been evacuated from Ukraine since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine war.

The statement came from Vladimir Georgiev, Head of the Representative Office of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) in Azerbaijan, Report informs. 

According to him, IOM, together with the Azerbaijani State Migration Service, provides assistance to Ukrainians in Azerbaijan.

In addition, the organisation cooperates with the Azerbaijani government and the Foreign Ministry on the issue of the evacuation of Azerbaijani citizens from Ukraine.
