Tourist flows from India, Pakistan to Azerbaijan increase

The number of foreign visitors from India and Pakistan has been increasing lately. 

According to the statistics of the last 4 months of 2023, both countries ranked 5th and 6th respectively. India and Pakistan are among the countries that have fully recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic, Azertag reports, citing the State Tourism Agency.

"In January and February this year, the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau organized promotional events in the Indian cities of Mumbai, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Delhi. Flights from Delhi are currently operated three times a week. In Pakistan, flights from Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore are organized a total of 5 times a week," it was reported.
