"Traces of Volkov and Vardanyan's joint business lead to the Kremlin" AzTV exposes Russian peacekeepers' duplicity/VIDEO

The head of the state TV channel Azerbaijan Television (AzTV), the host of the Sunday information and analytical program "Həftə" ["Week"], Rovshan Mammadov, has sharply criticised the behaviour of the leadership of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Azerbaijan's Karabakh region.

He wondered: "Does anyone control [Head of the Russian peacekeeping contingent] General [Andrey] Volkov's behaviour at all?"

"What is behind Volkov's arrogant behaviour, his guardianship of Armenian separatists and Iranian saboteurs? After all, someone appointed him to a position in Moscow, and if he is sent from the Kremlin, then he must report his actions to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Why does the Kremlin not react to Volkov's unfit activities?

"It can be concluded that the traces of the joint business of Volkov and [separatist state minister Ruben] Vardanyan lead to the Kremlin. This is regrettable… After all, the steps taken by Volkov, his behaviour in Karabakh liberated from occupation, support for Armenian separatists and Iranian saboteurs is a very serious blow to Azerbaijani-Russian relations and deservedly leads to a decrease in confidence in Russia in Azerbaijani society. The Kremlin must take this into account," Mammadov stressed.
