TRNC parliament speaker receives Azerbaijani delegation in Nicosia PHOTO

Speaker of the Parliament of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Ziya Öztürkler received a delegation from Azerbaijan’s New Azerbaijan Party in Nicosia.

The delegation, led by Azerbaijani MP Anar Mammadov, arrived in the TRNC to attend events marking the 52nd anniversary of the start of Türkiye's peacekeeping operation in Cyprus, Caliber.Az reports via Azertag.

Orkhan Hasanoglu, head of the Azerbaijan–Cyprus Friendship Society, also attended the meeting.

The previous day, the TRNC Parliament hosted another Azerbaijani delegation from the Milli Majlis, led by MP Javanshir Feyziyev, who heads the parliamentary working group on interparliamentary relations with the TRNC.
