Turkic Council Secretary General congratulates Azerbaijan on upcoming New Year
The Secretary General of the Turkic Council (TC), Kubanychbek Omuraliev, has extended his New Year greetings to all Turkic-speaking countries, including Azerbaijan.
One of the key highlights of the year, Omuraliev noted, was the informal meeting of the leaders held in the liberated city of Shusha. He described the city as "a powerful symbol of resilience and renewal for the Turkic World," Caliber.Az reports citing the organization.
Omuraliev wished the entire Turkic world health, prosperity, and stability in the coming year, saying, "May the New Year bring peace, prosperity, and success to all our Member States and Observers."
Additionally, the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking Countries (TurkPA) also congratulated Azerbaijan on December 31, marking World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and the upcoming New Year.
According to the organization's press service, "31 December was announced as World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day in accordance with the Presidential Decree in 1993. As the holiday of all the 50 million Azerbaijanis around the world, it symbolizes national unity and solidarity, and respect for national values.
On this auspicious occasion, the TURKPA Secretariat extends its congratulations to World Azerbaijanis and wishes peace, prosperity and welfare."
